Sarah completed her Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) at Curtin University of Technology in WA (2008). Since then she has worked in a variety of both hospital and private practice settings, where she has gained experience with a mixed client-base, including acutely unwell and post-surgical patients, as well as patients undergoing longer-term rehabilitation after injury or illness.
Since moving to Hobart in 2016, Sarah has worked extensively with patients undergoing orthopaedic surgeries, such as joint replacements and surgical repairs of bony and ligamentous injuries. Returning to private practice, Sarah is enjoying having the opportunity to play a role in assisting her patients to achieve their longer-term goals after injury or surgery. She sees the importance of recognising every patient as an individual with unique and meaningful goals, and uses this to guide her treatment approach. She incorporates pilates principles in her rehabilitation approach.
In her spare time Sarah enjoys playing alongside her new kelpie pup, "Ziggy", adventuring around the many stunning beaches of southern Tasmania and beyond- rugged up of course!
